With autumn setting in many brides are thinking about their wedding rings, why not have them locally handmade? Cutting out the shop and going straight to the goldsmith can keep costs down and has the advantage of having a wedding ring made to especially for you.

Ian Mortimore is a Designer Goldsmith based a few miles outside Bakewell. Since finishing his apprenticeship in London’s Hatton Garden 25 years ago he has made wedding rings for many high end shops, Cartier and Asprey among them. He can also re melt sentimental or unused jewellery and incorporate it into your design. If needed, a fitted wedding ring can be handmade specifically to fit your engagement ring.
