The Peaks and Dales Weddings October Wedding show at the Dome in Buxton was a great success! Many of our exhibitors have since told us that the Buxton wedding show was the best one yet for bookings, which is great to hear. We had 137 Brides who registered (15 who didn’t) and the foot fall through the door was 825 people. Although slightly down on the last show, the quality of buyers was up and everyone seemed to be looking for something, rather than window shopping. It was a lovely day (weather wise) which gave the Dome a great atmosphere with the sunlight shinning through the roof lights. With 2 great catwalk shows, courtesy of (Gracie Bleu) everyone who came had a good time. We spoke to a lot of the people who attended and everyone said they found it very informative which helped them to make decisions for their big day, which is the ultimate aim of our shows. We would like to thank all the exhibitors for their fantastic support and for all the people that helped with setting up the day. Sunday 7th October 2012 After the growing success of the last four shows, Peaks and Dales Weddings are delighted to announce they have once again teamed up with the Devonshire Dome, and the Buxton Advertiser, for another Premier Wedding Show in Buxton. As usual the Wedding Show will be hosted at the prestigious venue the Devonshire Dome, on Sunday the 7th October 2012. Chairman of Peaks and Dales, Adrian Leggett, said, “The whole reason behind this Show is to bring together local, independent wedding industry suppliers to offer people greater choice of product. We already have more exhibitors booked than the last show, and new ones are continuing to apply for a stand. When you think we achieved over 1000 people through the door at our last show, this proves that this what the residents of the Peaks and Dales want, everything about weddings under one roof on their doorstep!
